Mia's FIVE!!!

Well today is officially Mia's birthday, she is now 5 years old... I can't believe how time flies!

Of course all weekend long, when we had the birthday party at my mom's for family, she was excited all day yesterday she was telling everyone today was her birthday, yet when I woke her up this morning and said happy birthday she matter of factly yelled NO!...lol

My baby is SO not a morning person...lol.

I don't have a camera I can connect to the computer at the moment but my mom and sis got lots of cute pics I will put here or myspace when I get them....waiting waiting waiting...lol

Oh and her lil party turned into a mini slumber party. Jordan (13) Kenzie (11) and Taevy (8) stayed the night and helped me keep an eye on Mia on Sunday so I could get my house clean. It was great to have the help and Mia loved it so much that she cried when she was left with "just" me...lol

So when I get pics I will try to let you know... but definitely wanted to tell you MY BABY IS GROWING UP!!!!!

Ok one more short post. If you come to my page instead of from a reader you can tell I have changed it all...lol.

Well there is a reason for that. Mia thinks she's TinkerBell so TinkerBell is all over my house so why not her blog...lol.

It's a weird connection for us because I have loved fairies for a long time... actually have a fairy tattoo :) So I am all about supporting her love of TinkerBell...lol

Long time no see

Ok I know it's been over a year since I posted...sorry. A lot has happened. Phil and I got a divorce, Mia and I lived with my mom for a while, I got a job got my own place, lost that job because Mia had bronchitus for 2 weeks with a 102 fever while on anti biotics got a new job and just plain didn't want to bring all that to the blog. Well I'm better now. I doubt I will post much but wanted to let any of you that are still wondering about us that we are good. Phil is still a great dad and a pretty good ex husband. Mia is happier than ever and is 110% caught up developmentally. She shows us she has more and more vision it seems like every day. I'm doing good. Money's tight but that';s everywhere...lol and there are a lot of newer pics of Mia and I and our dog Timber on myspace.. myspace.com/trugyrl you can even add me as a friend if you want. I don't post much blog wise but I try to keep adding pics even if they are just pics from my phone as I get them and lord knows my mood changes daily...lol.

Pictures, pictures, and more pictures...

I have all kinds of pictures for you this time. They are posted in the order they were taken and I will give a brief description of what they are. So here you go, you Mia junkies...lol

Just a new hair style I tried out on Mia. I think it turned out pretty cute
This outfit was an AWESOME find. I bought the pants and a long sleeve shirt (not pictured) with the same material as the cuffs at KMart in April I think.
Then in around August I found this short sleeve shirt at another KMart and it goes with the pants as well. You can see the same material in the flower
here are a close up of the cuffs for those that are blind as a bat like I am

And here is a long sleeve sweat shirt I found a few weeks later and I am pretty sure it goes with the outfit as well. Now this whole 4 pc outfit I found at different times and paid around 15.00 bux total for the whole thing. Can't beat a good deal.

I also found these boots at WalMArt and couldn't pass them up. Her black biker boots from last year she outgrew so "luckily" she needed new ones. I LOVE these boots on her and she gets all kinds of compliments on them. The little silver tabs at the bottom say "I love Shopping" and boy does this girl ever LOVE shopping...wonder where she gets that heehee...

Mia has been home 1 year officially on Sept 20th 2007. But she was sick with a cold, these were taken the next day and I love them. Another clearance outfit from KMart...3.50 woohoo

Clapping is an all time fave for Mia.
here is her Halloween costume for this year. Her hair is not done right but I just wanted to try it on her to see how it looked, and of course show you guys. Last year she was little red riding hood so this year she is going to be little bo peep...lol. I like the nursery rhymes, can you tell...lol. She was NOT happy to have this on just yet however so this is the best pic I took of 5...lol
Then the other day, I think last Saturday, we were playing in the front yard. This is an outfit, well pants, my mom bought her. Are they not the cutest things...4.50 at Kohl's, us women love our deals...lol
She loves being outside and she is getting much braver about walking around independently.

And walking. She wouldn't go far and I kept my eyes on her the whole time, but she never ran into anything. I love how she is practicing using the little bit of vision she has. She will also gladly walk around with her cane if you give her the option and as long as no one is holding her hand...lol
Here is another outfit my mom bought her at Kohl's. the shirt and skirt are sewn together and I bought some thick black tights to wear under it so she can wear it in the cooler months, and of course ya gotta add those knee high boots...lol

So that is about it for me and our family. Nothing too exciting but lots of pics for your viewing pleasure.

PS my baby is turning FOUR in a few weeks, Nov 11th, and we are having a HUGE skating party with family and school kids at one, so this should be interesting...lol
